Want to bring your furry friend on board a private aircraft? Private Jet Services knows you love your pets, and we are experts on finding the proper aircraft that allow your pets to travel with you like the family they are. We can work with you to schedule rest-stops, place toys on board, even have crews assigned that are extra pet-friendly! With a private jet charter, your four-legged family member can join you during your travel without any stress.

Commercial airline travel can be difficult for both pets and owners. The hassle of dealing with TSA procedures is enough reason to find an alternative solution, but the major problem is that majority of commercial airlines only allow pets to travel in the cargo hold. This can cause animals a lot of stress based on the daunting environment change and loud noises.  The risk is higher than your pet could end up with minimal care, become lost, injured, or worse!

But there are pet-friendly alternatives that eliminate your four-legged buddy from being treated like a piece of luggage. You and your pet deserve a peaceful, safe and comfortable flight. When you charter or purchase a Jet Card with Private Jet Services, we go above and beyond your expectations, and you can be confident that your pet is not only in good hands but your hands!  We look forward to seeing you and your pet soon!

Here are a few tips when traveling with your pets onboard a private aircraft:

Arrive Early

Help ease your pet’s anxiety by showing up earlier than usual for your flight. Let Fido sniff around and become acclimated with the aircraft before takeoff. Also, it gives your pet a chance to relieve itself, meaning a lower chance of an accident mid-flight.

Schedule a V-E-T visit

Not every pet’s favorite, but it is very important to make sure your furry friend is healthy enough to fly. Inform your veterinarian of your travels and make sure your pet is up to date on their vaccinations and customs documentation relevant to the passenger’s destination (Hawaii, for example, has strict quarantine restrictions).

Update your pet’s ID tags

Check to make sure your pets tags are up to date and secure on their collars in the event your dog runs off while on vacation. Having the proper ID tag with correct contact information will give you peace of mind.

Pack a “Doggy Bag”

It may seem obvious, but just like their owners, pets can get hungry and thirsty while traveling. Plan ahead and have extra water or two put aside especially for your pet and pack some of your furry friend’s favorites snacks.
